Gringo Funk is an upcoming short film project from writer/director Daniel Cabeza. Shot on location in Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles it tells the story of a lonely American investment banker living in Rio de Janeiro whose life is changed in one day by an unlikely fellow American and a beautiful Brazilian. The film explores the struggle to find a work/life balance and the difference between Americans and Brazilians. See what one man finds when he ventures outside his comfort zone. Gringo Funk is currently in post production.
